Spicy Chicken Drumsticks AKA Puru Uncle's Chicken (PUC)

When I had first visited UK for the first time in 1998, I was staying in a furnished apartment with 4 of my colleagues.  Since we were living as bachelors, our only source of "home cooked" food were the experiments which we did during weekends. This recipe is a result of one such experiment! :-)

This is also called Puru Uncle's Chicken (PUC). This name was given by a sweet little girl who loves my spicy drumsticks. She is my son's school mate.

For 6  chicken drumsticksRemove skin and poke holes using a knife on the drumsticks. Marinade using yoghurt, salt, chilli powder overnight or at least 3 hours
The Masala Paste
Mix following together
1. 1 table spoon chilli powder
2. 1 tablespoon cumin (jeera) powder
3. 1/2 tablespoon coriander (dhaniya) powder
4. Salt as per taste
5. Chicken Masala or garam masala 1 teaspoon
6. Oil - enough to make a thick paste
Coat the marinated chicken pieces with the above paste .
Preheat oven at 220 deg Celsius for 10 mins.
Put the chicken drumsticks in a aluminium or parchment paper and cook.
Check the chicken regularly to turn them over. Also while turning, coat the chicken with the left over masala paste.
It would take about 30-45 mins to cook.
Once done just pounce and eat! For it won't be long for them to be over!! :-)
